Organizational Structure

Department of Studies and Planning:


The Department of Studies and Planning is an administrative department associated with the Assistant Chancellor of the University for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies of the Technological University.

Aims to achieve leadership in the fields of statistics, planning, data and informatics, supporting the University's overall vision and sustainable development.

It achieves the University's sustainable development, achieves academic and managerial excellence, enhances its standing locally and internationally, and improves the quality of its education.

 

The Department consists of three divisions, namely:

  1. Statistics Division.
  2. Planning Division.
  3. Data and Informatics Division.

 

The Department's main functions include:

  1. Development of the University's strategic plans.
  2. Conducting necessary statistical studies.
  3. Preparation and implementation of training and rehabilitation programmes for associates.
  4. Build and manage an integrated affiliate database.
  5. Provision of technical and administrative support to the University.
  6. Contributing to curriculum development.
  7. Follow-up of morning and evening examinations and teaching.
  8. Follow-up updates on university formations.

The mission of the Department of Studies and Planning is to provide outstanding services in data analysis, developing effective plans and strategies, providing an advanced technological environment, with the aim of supporting academic and administrative processes, and promoting the sustainable development of the educational institution.

 

Department Objectives:

Develop the University's strategic plans to ensure the achievement of its objectives and vision.
Conducting the necessary statistical studies to analyze the current realities of the University and identify its future needs in order to ensure their development and improve their performance.

Prepare and implement training, development and rehabilitation programs for university affiliates to ensure that their competence and scientific and practical abilities are enhanced.
Build and manage an integrated database of university affiliates to facilitate human resources management and decision-making.
Provide technical and administrative support to the University to ensure the proper functioning of the University.
Follow-up on curriculum development to ensure that it is in line with scientific and technical developments.
Follow the course of examinations and morning and evening teaching at the university to ensure its sustainability efficiently and effectively and achieve an ideal learning environment for its students.
Follow-up updates on university formations to ensure administrative and scientific integration.

The Department of Studies and Planning plays an important role in the development of the strategic plans of the University by conducting the necessary studies to analyze the current reality of the University and identify its future needs, and then developing plans that meet these needs and contribute to the achievement of the University's objectives and vision.


Conducting necessary statistical studies
The Department of Studies and Planning provides statistical data and information needed to analyze the university's current reality and determine its future needs by conducting various statistical studies, such as statistics of teachers, associates and students.


Preparation and implementation of training, development and qualification programs for affiliates
The Department of Studies and Planning is keen to prepare and implement training, development and rehabilitation programmes for affiliates at the University, in order to ensure that their competence and scientific and practical abilities are enhanced by providing specialized training programmes in various scientific and administrative fields.
